By creating an account or using OTG, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
OTG is operated by Gonzales Palma Information Technology Services, San Juan, Batangas, Philippines. OTG is a discussion platform designed for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
You must be at least 18 years old to use OTG. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Only one account per person is permitted.
You may register with an email address and password, or with Google. Sign in with Apple may be offered on iPhone. Usernames are permanent and cannot be changed. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Users must treat others respectfully. The following are not allowed: • Job offers, hiring announcements, or recruitment of any kind • Selling, ads, or promotions in community groups (use a Marketplace / Ads group instead) • Offering or asking for personal loans, or any money lending activity • Scams, fraud, phishing, or investment schemes • Impersonation, harassment, threats, or hate speech • Illegal content, forged documents, or human trafficking • Pornography, child exploitation, spam, and malicious activity Our Community Guidelines explain these rules in more detail.
Groups are organized by country and topic. Group owners, admins, and moderators may approve posts, remove content, and ban members from their groups. Groups labelled "Official" are community groups run by OTG. They are not run by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any government, embassy, consulate, the Department of Migrant Workers, or any recruitment agency. Information shared in them is not official government advice.
You retain ownership of the content you create, including posts, comments, messages, and images. By posting content, you grant OTG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for operating and improving the platform.
Posts, comments, profile information, and images you choose to publish may be visible to other users. Do not share private information about yourself or others, such as the name of your employer, that you would not want others to see.
Private messaging is provided for user convenience. Users may block, report, or delete conversations. OTG may review messages when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, fraud, violations of these Terms, or where required by law.
OTG does not verify the identity, employment status, immigration status, qualifications, licenses, employers, recruiters, landlords, businesses, or service providers using the platform. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before relying on information or entering into any transaction.
Content shared on OTG represents the opinions and experiences of users. It should not be considered legal, immigration, financial, tax, medical, employment, or professional advice.
Marketplace / Ads groups let users post ads and offers. OTG only connects users and is not a party to any transaction. OTG assumes no responsibility for products, services, housing, payments, or agreements between users. For your safety: never send money or pay upfront to someone you have not met, do not move negotiations to outside apps, and meet in a safe public place. Report suspicious ads.
You can report posts, comments, messages, and profiles. Reports are reviewed by group moderators or OTG. The person you report is not told who reported them.
OTG may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the safety of the community, with or without prior notice. A ban may also block the email address used for the account from creating new accounts, and may apply to other accounts that use the same email address. Creating new accounts to get around a ban is not allowed. Banned accounts cannot be deleted from the app; contact us instead.
You may delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → menu → Delete Account). Your profile details and photos are removed, and you can no longer sign in. Your posts, comments, and messages remain visible to others as "Deleted User" to preserve discussions. Your username is retired and cannot be used again by anyone. Some limited information is kept after deletion, as described in our Privacy Policy.
OTG is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gonzales Palma Information Technology Services shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform, including losses from transactions or arrangements between users.
These Terms may be updated periodically. We will show the date of the latest change at the top of this page. Continued use of OTG after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
